I have a couple of posts I’m working on, and I meant to get one of them done yesterday to post, but my day went sideways and I didn’t have it in me. I took my pup Felix to the vet yesterday for a simple eye irritation; his eye seems to be okay, but the vet found that he has a severely swollen lymph node in his neck. Given that it’s only swollen on one side, it’s probably not due to infection – the vet recommended that we get it biopsied. And he didn’t mince words about his concern – it had come on so suddenly (he was just at the vet for a check-up in September) that cancer is his obvious and immediate concern. So it’s been biopsied and now I’m awaiting test results.
I don’t know what I’ll do if I have to say goodbye to him so soon. He means the world to me.
Please, send good thoughts.
Aww bless you and Felix! He is absolutely gorgeous! Please tell him I love him already. I hope his results come back as nothing of concern. I had an old staffie when I was a kiddo (well she wasn’t old when we got her tbf) and she very lumpy including a huge one around her neck area, which was alarming to see and feel but was of no concern to her & not cancerous. I very much hope for a result like this for you and Felix. Sending you both lots of positive thoughts xxx
